Stage 4 and 5 Science
Across Stages 4 and 5, emphasis is placed on developing scientific literacy so that students can make evidence-informed decisions that enable inquiry about the world around us and to discover, develop and produce solutions to real-world problems.
Science emphasises the skills for working scientifically, as well as critical and creative thinking to address scientific issues. Practical skills are built around safe-work practices and are an integral part of the learning process.
