About our school

At Pennant Hills High School, we provide many opportunities for your child to achieve excellence. We have a tradition of academic success and offer many programs to cater for gifted and talented students, such as chess, the Academic Challenge, MUNA, the Tournament of Minds and many others. We establish and maintain high standards of respect and responsibility within our school community.

Our supportive and stable environment encourages our students to become mature and self-directed learners. We support diverse student needs not just through curriculum differentiation but also in our Learning Centre, which provides extension and remediation, and the Learning Hub.

Our school is served by highly qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers whose professional expertise provides our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become active 21st century learners. Our extensive curriculum and enrichment activities enable us to meet the specific needs of your child.

The school enjoys a proud tradition of success in drama, debating, band and visual arts, and our students have many opportunities to engage in volunteer and community programs to assist their growth as responsible and caring citizens. As a part of the Pennant Hills High School community, your child will benefit from strong links with tertiary institutions and TAFE. These connections will assist in providing your child with the best possible opportunities for their post-schooling career.

Pennant Hills High School is set in large grounds and situated in a well-established residential area in the north-west of Sydney. The school was established in 1966, and prides itself on being an excellent comprehensive co-educational high school. It enjoys strong community support.
