Welcome to Pennant Hills High School for Year 7
2023 Enrolment Process Information
The Moving into Year 7 in a NSW Government school in 2023 booklet provides information about the process for enrolment in a government secondary school. This includes the Expression of Interest (EOI) for placement in Year 7, 2025 in a NSW Government school.
Year 6 parents/caregivers complete this form online via their Primary School website to indicate their preferences for the school in which they would like to enrol their child for Year 7, 2025. You can select your local school and/or a maximum of 3 out-of-area schools.
On the Expression of Interest form, you will be required to:
· In area Applications: Complete ‘Section A’ and sign ‘Section B’ on the Expression of Interest Placement in Year 7, 2025 in a NSW Government School form which is distributed through your primary school in Term 1, 2024 and will indicate Pennant Hills High School as your local School. Return the completed online form to your government primary school.
· Out of Area Applications: Complete ‘Section A’ and list Pennant Hills High School as your “Choice 1 School” in ‘Section C’ on the Expression of Interest Placement in Year 7, 2025 in a NSW Government School form. This form is online through your primary school website in Term 1, 2024. Out of Area vacancies are extremely limited at Pennant Hills High School, and not listing Pennant Hills High School as ‘Choice 1 School’ may mean the application cannot be considered.
The Expression of Interest form will be online in Term 1, 2024.
Parents/caregivers must submit the Expression of Interest form to their primary school by Thursday 4 April 2024.
Parents/caregivers of Year 6 Students currently attending non-Government schools should contact Pennant Hills High School to receive the Moving into Year 7 in a NSW Government school in 2023 booklet.
Pennant Hills High School’s Year 7, 2025 Orientation Day has been scheduled for Tuesday 3 December 2024.

Pennant Hills High School Year 7, 2025 High Potential and Gifted Program Information:
· The closing date for receipt of the application form and payment for the Pennant Hills High School High Potential and Gifted Placement Test (HiPaG) is Friday 8 March 2024. Please return the application form by email to pennanthil-h.enrol@det.nsw.edu.au
· Payment of $100 is to be made online through our website via the Make a payment tab no later than Friday 8 March 2024.
Please note: information regarding the placement test and organisation for the morning will be emailed to all participants after the Friday 8 March 2024, closing date.
· The HiPaG test is scheduled for Thursday 4 April 2024 from 9.00am - 12.00pm
· First round offers to the HiPaG class will be made at the end of Term 2.
All enrolment applications are subject to Department of Education Enrolment Policy guidelines. Please refer to the Moving into Year 7 in a NSW Government school in 2025 booklet and the Pennant Hills High School Enrolment policy.

Please note applicants do not automatically gain enrolment at Pennant Hills High School based on results of the HIPAG test.
